TriadHTLH launches app to enhance GLP-1 medication experience

TriadHLTH launches a first-of-its-kind personalized app, HLTHYher, that provides much-needed support for women taking GLP-1 medication to manage chronic conditions like obesity, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), cardiovascular disease, and diabetes.

TriadHLTH was founded by industry veteran Cheryl Morrison Deutsch, an entrepreneur with over 20 years experience in leading digital healthcare innovation and driving health transformation. Through a partnership with Dr. Reza Yavari, Board-Certified Endocrinologist and metabolism expert trained at the Yale School of Medicine, the HLTHYher app launch will open the program to women referred by their physician. Morrison Deutsch says: “We value the opinions, perspectives, and needs of the women we serve. TriadHLTH was founded because we’ve experienced first-hand what it feels like as a woman when your health concerns are ignored. We’ve got a dynamic roadmap planned, and we’re excited to begin supporting new members.”

GLP-1 medications are powerful tools for managing chronic conditions like obesity and diabetes. However, without providing proper support from the individualized coaching program of HLTHYher, the potential benefits of GLP-1 therapy can be lost. Most medication users struggle to manage difficult side effects, and a recent BCBS claims review found that nearly 60% of patients stopped taking their prescribed GLP-1 medication in less than 12 weeks, before reaching clinically significant weight loss.

HLTHYher is a required GLP-1 medication companion
HLTHYher provides a proactive solution to these challenges. Health coaching has been proven to improve medication adherence2 and is a successful strategy for implementing healthy lifestyle behaviors3. HLTHYher coaches work with members via text message, 1:1 video calls, and group calls to better manage side effects and build healthy habits. AI-driven insights based on individual member data help members understand how daily habits impact overall health.
